Keeping a journal of your Serger Projects with photos and the settings you used, will help you when you want to do a similiar procedure months later and you need to setup your serger again to make a project again, or something close to what you made before. Or if you have a smartphone, even taking a photo of the settings will help you in the future when you are sewing a similar weight fabric
Write down YouTube channel names and videos, Tutorial Sites - anything that helps improve your serging skill. Write down where you bought certain threads or replacement parts.
