Are they the same as sewing machine feet? Can I use my sewing machine clear presser foot?

No. The feet which come with Brother models are special feet just for your model of serger, there is no clear presser foot available for any model of Brother Serger.

It is possible that you are looking at the serging by looking the foot area.

You should train your eyes to watch the fabric edge in front of the foot (closer to you) if you are doing it properly,

there is no need for a clear presser foot.
